Advantages: Fun, good looking, Brilliant games

Disadvantages: games expensive at launch

The Nintendo 64 is, in my opinion the best console of all time. I am an avid nintendo fan and have owned and N64 for 4 years and have never stopped enjoying it. We have a gray version but it is also available in a range of funky colours to match your room. It is curvey and good looking. The 64DD drive which was unfortunatly not releaded in the UK was probably the most origional add on ever. As well as that you can buy an expansion pack for your N64 which slots in the front and improves speed and graphics.


The N64 controllers are origional and grip your hand well. The 3D stick added a whole new dimension to gameplay when the N64 was first released. I must also commend the idea os the Z trigger button on the underside of the controller. This made shoot-em-ups much eaisier and enjoyable

The games on the N64. The N64 has its share of pathetic games. This however is dwarfed by the ammount of classics that have graced our screens. May i mention Perfect Dark, Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, Goldeneye, Star Wars Episode 1 Racer. The list goes on and on.

Also the prices have now come down. Games are getting cheaper. The N64 is definatly not dead! If you own a playstaion or a sega then sell them and buy an N64! Every one should have the chance to enjoy Mario. He is probly the oldest gaming character.

I have just found the specs for the Xbox. They are very impressive but it the old seeing is believing. I never trust anyone with graphics because it is so easy to exaggerate thinks. Like it thousands of times more powerful. So i will not rubish the xbox till i have seen what it is capable of. I will still get a GC though.
