Cheap and very cheerful! (Nintendo N64)

Advantages: Originality, Nice graphics, Fun to play

Disadvantages: To expensive

While entering its final days, Nintendo is letting its self do what playstation game developers have been doing (and are continuing on to th PS2) for many years which, is to but half arsed games together to make a bit of extra money before releasing the Gamecube.

While the N64 in its hay-day was dady of all systems, and still is a far supiour machine to the playstation and long forgotten Saturn, and in my books beats Sega's latest effot the Dreamcast, producing the very first proper 3-D platformer in the form of Mario 64.

With games such as Waverace, Blast Crops, and Politwings which where as brilliant as they where original and Mario Kart which set a new standard for multiplaying gameplay, which has yet to be topped and has had more carbon copies made of it than Whitehouse scandels the Nintendo blasted on to our home TVs and wherent turned off for along time.

With Rareware behind Nintendo all the way how could it fail, well they choosed to base their games on cartridges, meaning more more expensive to make, more expensive to sell and less people buy them.

It was such a pitty games like the Zelda series, Perfect Dark, the Turok series, Banjo where missed out on, the games where so brilliantly designed and craved out, to make game fun again.

When your able to pick up beauties like Mario 64 and Kart for a fiver each, and have more fun than any PS2 game out at the moment.

With the 64 being on it's last legs everything is going cheap so pick one up and a whole host of great games that are better than any PS2 game around.
