Advantages: Great multiplayer, decent plot, sampled speech is funny

Disadvantages: The framerate can slow if theres a lot of action on screen at once.

First things first. Goldeneye is a fantastic game, and has won many awards for its utter brilliantness. Nothing has ever come close to beating it, until now. Perfect Dark has had fans of Goldeneye drooling with desire for ever since the first screenshots were released a couple of years ago.
Upon first playing this game, i was in awe by the incredible gameplay. The first thing that hits you are the graphics. There's no way anybody but Nintendo themselves could make a game as drop dead gorgeous as this, to put it another way, it will make your eyes bleed.

Anybody who has played Goldeneye will feel right at home. The control is identical, except for a nifty addition. If you hold down the B Button, you can select your weapon. This is no doubt a tribute to the Turok series.

The one thing in this game that makes it head and shoulders above anything else is the multiplayer mode. Goldeneye was good, this is unbelieveable. You can have up to 8 computer controlled opponents a time battling it out with you. This is fantastic fun if you have no friends to play it with, or you're simply too good for anyone else. You can also divide the players into teams, for some great team games.

If I had one qualm about this videogame, its that the levels are not as clever or as enjoyable as those in Goldeneye. Its still a good game, and there are plenty of challenges to be had and cheats to unlock. The bottom line is, If you own an N64, you must buy Perfect Dark. If you don't have an N64.......nows your time to buy one.
