Nintendo did have a reputation for good consoles. Until this came out. The continued the cartridge theme from the SNES and it didn't pay off. There haven't been a huge number of games available for it, because cartridges are expensive to produce. Of the games that are made, alot of them are poor. Nintendo's (up till recently) poor advertisement has done the console no favours either. Don't buy the console because it's cheap. It's cheap 'cos it's crap. Ignore this and check out Sony's effort or (if you must) Sega's Dreamcast.
