BEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE (Nintendo N64)

Disadvantages: expensive new games

When I bought my 64 it was at the time the Playstation was all the rage, and I wanted one of those.

The shops were bare, and as it was my kids birthday the very next day, I bought a 64, 3 games, extra controller and memory pak all for the princely sum of about £270!!!

At first I was reluctant to even consider the merits of the machine, but a little italian plumber called Mario changed all that!!

What a machine and what graphics control and playability for damn near all the games!

Now about 2 1/2 years down the line, it still is used frequently, and has paid for itself over and over.

Now you can pick one up for next to nothing, and I would recommend it to anyone at anytime. (watch out for expensive expansion paks though)
