Advantages: Great value enjoyment

Disadvantages: Graphics - but who cares?

What a great product. Have been playing my wii now for nearly a year and whilst the addiction does wear off slightly it is great that Nintendo continue to bring out innovative additions to the console that certainly help it retain its longevity somewhat.

My main positive comment about this console is that it has totally revolutionised the gaming industry and the type of people that will buy, and play, a games console. To put this into perspective - my parents want one and my Grandma often talks about how much she likes playing on it. To get this reaction from them towards a games console is pretty staggering really.

Graphically this console is not top of the current generation of consoles but the point is simply that this is not why you buy and play a wii - graphics are simply not important when your playing tennis in your front room after your Grandma has just given you a challenge at bowling!

It's so different to other games consoles that it does not even fit into the same category. Ultimately I am yet to meet anyone who does not enjoy playing the wii.
