Advantages: fun for all the family, easy to pick up, online features

Disadvantages: game are abit dear, not much to choose from

this is the first games console i have bought since the playstation 2 came out way back when. i have never really rated nintendo that much in the past although i did own a snes and i had a lot of fun on that playing mario kart and street fighter 2, but i have always stuck with sony or sega before. this console has defintly changed my mind about nintendo though. the wii is so much fun to play and the best thing about it is that anyone can join in to, young, old, gamers, non gamers, this really is for anyone and everyone. i also like the fact that the remotes are wireless so you pretty much have the freedom to move around. the games are abit pricey and there isn't all that much to choose from but then it's quite new at the moment. would recomend getting a second controller as it can be a bit of a pain when playing two player if you only have one. the system also has 512 mb of memory built in for saving games, if you need more there is an sd card slot so you can expand. the online feature is really good aswell you can download games, check the weather and even read the latest headlines on the news channel. these seem to be holding there price at around £179 but worth every penny. go and buy one now.
