Wii enjoy exercise & Gameplay! (Nintendo Wii)

Advantages: Exercise whilst you play!

I received a Nintendo Wii for Christmas last year and was extremely happy as its something I really wanted. I set it all up, and even though there are quite a few cables and bits and bobs with it found it fairly simple and straight forward.

I was bought a few games with it, but to start off with I decided to try the simpler games that come with the console such as Wii Play, having spent years of my ill spent youth using a handheld controller I found it quite difficult to get the hang of.

However, after a few days of getting used to it and playing various games I seemed to have got the hang of it. I love the fact that the moves you would use in the real life game, are the moves that you use to control these games and that makes it feel so realistic.

I must admit I was amazed that such technology didn't possess the ability to play DVD's, but apart from that I love the Wii. The gameplay and graphics are brilliant, and slowly the selection of games for this console is getting bigger and bigger.

The only disadvantage I find to this console is that it becomes addictive and you find yourself playing it for hours on end and then when you wake up the next morning you ache in places you never knew existed.

However, instead of kids being glued to their Playstation' or X Box's and snacking on unhealthy foods, the Wii is brilliant because it gives you exercise as well as game playing enjoyment.

I would highly recommend this games console for the whole family.
