Advantages: Unique style of gameplay, fun for ALL the family...

Disadvantages: The controllers are quite expensive...

If you were from Newcastle you would call this console a Why Aye... But we just call it the Wii and we also call it brilliant fun too. If you haven't bowed down to the pressure of the kids badgering you to buy one, you're unlucky...YES UNLUCKY! This console is one that should be available on prescription, it gets all the old folks involved, it's just soooo easy to use. The kids will absolutely love all of the brilliant Nintendo games If there is one manufacturer that knows how to sell fun then it's Nintendo.
We have owned a Wii now for about 12 months and although it doesn't get hammered like my XBox 360, it is the console in the "Family" room. Get everyone gathered round for lots of fun, the basic console came with the Wii Sports game and we then bought Wii Play and got another controller thrown in. thes 2 games on their own are enough to keep most families happy for hours, even the grannies and grandads.
With an ever growing number of games available, this pretender to the throne is now reigning alongside the other heavyweights such as the Xbox 360.
Get down to the shops and buy one now.
