Advantages: Great fun, unique, good exercise

I have had one of these for almost a year and have to say they are a really fun console. Everyone in my family has played it a lot because it is different to other consoles where you just press buttons because on the Wii you just pick up and start playing. When you turn the console on there is a cool blue light which is a nice touch I feel.
The controllers are totally unique and are different to anything I have used before instead of just pressing buttons you actually move your hand and point at the screen. I have done a separate review on the controllers so I won`t ramble on about them here.
The games are really fun and my favourites (which I have got) are:
1) Mario Kart a brilliant game and the current in this fantastic series (I have done a separate review on this because it is brilliant!)
2) Wii Sports which comes free with the console itself and has five separate mini games on it which include tennis and bowling. (I have done a review on this as well if you would like to know more.)

I would also recommend Wii Play which is not that great but comes for £5 extra with a controller which makes it worth it. Mario Strikers Charged Football if that is what is actually called is good. Also apparently Super Smash Brothers Brawl is supposed to be brilliant.

A great thing is as well it is great exercise (seriously it is) and you can do it in any weather.

You can get lots of accessories for it like tennis rackets, golf clubs, light sabres, guns and many more fun things but I only have a wheel for Mario Kart.

And for 500 Wii points you can get the internet. I got this for free because I registered some games with Nintendo and did a little survey about them at a nintendo site.

The graphics are brilliant but that is not very important to be honest. You can download old game for the Wii as well and can even get things like the Weather forecast on it!

This console is really fun and can be bought for about £170 with a game and Wii Sports this includes the console a Wii remote, a nunchuck and everything you need to get started.
