Fun with the nintendo wii! (Nintendo Wii)

I purchased my nintendo wii about six months ago, and look forward to playing on it several times a week!

I purchased mine around a time when they were selling out as soon as they came into the shops, but i held out and evetually managed to get my hands on a package - god knows i had waited long enough!! I paid £179.99 for the console with the wii sports game included, i then went on to buy another controller for around £30.

Although i do think that by the time i had bought all the bits and pieces (extra controllers, nun chuck, games etc) it was very pricey i do not regret it. Not usually being a computer games person i was quite reluctant to get one but my partner insisted. I have to say i am so glad we did get it!

Although the graphics on them probably arent as good as say the PS3 console, it is such a family console. The games are so interactive and believe it or not actually gets you up and exercising - especially the boxing and tennis on the wii sports. Most of the games are suitable for the whole family and i have had younger cousins (aged 5) playing it aswell as my nan!!

The console can connect to the internet and although i have never done this, many of the games available can be played with other players from around the country.
All of the games are played using the wireless controls which are pointed towards the screen (picked up by the sensor bar that is stuck to the top of your tv). Although you can buy charging stands for the controls, i have just bought rechargable batteries.

The wii has several games which include different accessories such as the steering wheel for mario karts, the various parts available for wii sports and the balance board for the wii fit.

The actual console is slim and doesnt take up alot of room at all - mine fits perfectly beside my DVD player, my only issue is the colour!! I wish it was silver to match my tv and DVD player!!

All in all, this is a great buy and will bring hours of entertainment, it is definatly worth the money!!
