Not a primary system, but a great back-up (Nintendo Wii)

Advantages: Fun with many people, unique

This is a great system because it is unique, but it should not be a primary system. I feel that this is more geared towards familes and parties, because most of the games focus on multiplayer games, such as trivia games and the sports package. While you can play against yourself, there is no competition. What fun is that?

Some of the games are rather odd, especially Cooking mama. I saw the demo for that, and all you do is cut food and make stuff. Why would you want to play that? Thats just an excuse for Nintendo to show off the fact of motion sensor control.

My friend has a Wii, and when a bunch of us get together and compete in the bowling or baseball, it is a blast. We get to talk garbage to each other, eat a pizza, and just have a good time.

I feel that Wii, like every other nintendo system, is lacking multiplayer support. Sure, you can go online and download games, but you can't play against anyone over the internet. Does Nintendo not understand you can do that on any other system? Why are they so behind the times. This is one reason why it should not be a primary gaming console.

Overall, if you plan to play with a bunch of people often, this system is for you, if not, then try the Xbox 360 :)
