Advantages: easy to use, technologically advanced

Disadvantages: poor one player modes

Nintendo has finally managed to find a unique selling point to get a gaming system ahead of the competition. The wii is a mixture of revoloutionary technology, incorperating you into the game, and retro nintendo titles we know and love. The wii is compatable with past systems and controlers meaning your old consoles are obsolieat. This even gives you a way to finance the cost, by selling your old consoles secound hand. The wii is however, very much a multiplayer console. The one player games do not have a very long playing facor and become boring very quickly. The multiplayer games do more then make up for this however.
the Wii is easy to install, has no compatability issues and in my experience is very reliable, never freezing or even giving minor lagg to my gaming experience. The free online play tops this off nicely and makes for the best console to date.

Summary: A good console, heads and shoulders above past nintendo efforts
