Advantages: Unique idea moving around with the controller

Disadvantages: Poor gaming quality

For people who like their games consoles I think the Nintendo Wii will be very disappointing. I have one in my house, my mum bought it for the family because she really enjoyed playing it herself. Actually, the only game she has played is the Wii Sports, which I will admit is a fun game to play with your friends but it is also very repetitve and rather basic so not the best when playing on your own. The more advanced games for example Resident Evil I thought were rather good to play on the Wii but I did find that the controller made it a lot harder than it had to be. The controller is really complicated for a games console controller and it isn't that ergonomic. If you seriously like playing games consoles this is probably the worst one you could choose but it is fun to be with your friends. If you were buying it as a present for someone, I would aim for young children or adults as they seem to enjoy it too.
