Still the best (Sega Megadrive)
Member Name: kat770
Advantages: Cheap and fun Disadvantages: None I first had a Sega Megadrive about 10 years ago and i still think they are great. I loved playing the sonic games and yes looking at them now the graphics are not that brillent but they were years ago. Some of the games seem realy easy to complete now but there is still one game that i have never got passed and thats Dizzy, the main reason for this is because its an old computer you can't save onto it. When my nefew comes round he always plays on the Megadrive even though we have a Xbox the reason for this is because the games are good are some easier to control. Megadrives are quite cheap to buy now around £7-£10 from carboot sales or from trade in computer games shops. The games are only around a few pound each too so for not alot of money you can have a great computer. The only bad thing i found with the Megadrive is that the wires at the back can be a bit faulty sometimes but well they are years old. I think some of the best games for it are Columns, Lotus turbo challenge and of course Sonic, although there is loads of other great games. I would recommend buying one because even though they are only a 16 bit computer the games are realy good fun. Summary: Good buy |
