Advantages: Loads of good games
Disadvantages: Getting old
I remember when I first bought my Super NES when I was still at school in 1993. At the time it was the latest console and everyone had to have one. Well the other day I felt bored so I took out my SNES from it's dusty box under my bed and as soon as I switched it on, the happy memories came flooding back. The first game I played was Super Mario Kart and what an excellent game it was and still is today in my opinion. You can also challenge friends and race against them, hours of fun! Another classic is Sensible Soccer, so simple yet addictive. Then there's 3D Starwing, Street Fighter, the list goes on and on! I still think that the SNES is better than many modern game consoles around today due to the excellent simplicity of the wide range of games available for it. The graphics are still pretty decent and the classics such as the Mario Bros series can never be emulated on some of todays over the top consoles, many of which rely on good graphics instead of good gameplay to sell. The SNES will never fade away, definately a timeless classic.

- 14/12/01 I agree, the SNES is still great - have you tried an emulator so you can ply SNES games on your PC? |

- 14/12/01 Feeling old now! My first computer game was just two sticks representing tennis rackets banging a ball across a line in the middle of the screen! |
