Advantages: Pretty good graphics, Only 3rd gen console on market

Disadvantages: Big, Black, Blunder

Bigger than a NES! Yes unbeliavable as it is the PS2 is bigger than a NES. It shows how unadvanced Sony are in the console market. I do not own a PS2 but have played on one at my freinds. I have found the controllers very difficult to use. They were also very uncomfortable on my hands. The console itself has a distinct VCR quality. As well as that it comes in 1 colour. Black. Now that may suit some people but not others.

I must say that the graphics are impressive. The games i have played on it i have found hard to master. The controls are difficult and having two 3D sticks adds even more difficulty. It would have been god if sony had designed a new controler for their new console. Nintendo have designed a new controller with each new console. If you want good graphics then buy the PS2. However i recommend waiting for the GameCube in 2002 spring. The PS2 also has a DVD playing facility but this just means its more expensive
