Ceramic White Sony PlayStation 3 40GB Console (PS3)

I bought the White PS3 around a week ago, I got it imported from Japan, because Sony hasn't released a White PS3 in the UK. I bought it for £360 off ebay.co.uk and the Packaging and Posting was free. I already had a PS3 80GB but I decided to buy another two PS3's for my bed room and put the other PS3 80GB into the Living room on a 50" HDTV. I bought a PS3 60Gb out of game for £210 preowned. So that means I will use the White PS3 for PS3 games, and the Black PS3 for Movies, Music, Pictures, Maybe some Web Browsing, PS2 and PS1 games!

In the box there is one Ceramic White Sony PlayStation 3 40GB console, One White Sixaxis PS3 Controller, One controller charging cable, RCA cables, RCA to Scart adapter and Manuals.

Information on the Console
The console was imported from Japan, It comes with a White Sixaxis Controller. It has two USB 2.0 ports on the front of the console for charging the Controllers. You can put in a USB hub if you need more USB's. The console is Region free for games but doesn't play UK DVD's or Bluray's. It has 40Gb of memory (40,000 Megabites). It lets you play up to four players in some games. It can't play PS1 or PS2 games and doesn't have a Memory card reader like the 60Gb PS3.

Ports on the Console
The console has two USB 2.0 port's, one HDMI port, one Optical audio port, PlayStation port(RF, Composite, Component and S-Video) and one Ethernet port. The console runs through Three pin computer cable!

Game Play
I havn't played the console much so I don't know much about the game play, but so far the game play of the console has been excellent. The games play upto 1080P. The games are blu ray so if you strach the disc it doesn't matter!

Overall
I think it looks nicer than the Black console but the 60GB is the best PS3 I have ever played and I will review it in a few days when I have played it more. The white console is very rare in the UK and will be worth alot of money if I do decide to sell it on! It looks nice both the Black and White PS3's sitting beside a 37" TV. Like any other PS3 console the White console has WIFI built in so I can Play games online without a cable! You have to have Component or HDMI to run the blu ray's and Game's at 1080P. I would recommend anyone who want's a different PS3 console that Nobody else has and is only going to use it for games to buy the White PS3. But you can play English American DVD's and Blu ray's online! The console is priced around £340 to £400.

Summary: Love playing this console even know it was Expensive
