WOW!!!

Finally Sony have released their console to compete with the Xbox 360 and i think it knocks the 360 out of the market in every section except maybe game range, however Sony are fighting back quickly here as well.

To start with the console is visually stunning, sleek black with a silver trim and front and back fans to protect against overheating makes this console fit in beside your home entertainment system or even replace it what else do you need excelpt for the Sky Box and the tv. Nothing with this.

The conole can be played in VGA or in HDMI and in HDMI the graphics are stunning, make sure you have a HD tv to use this though.

Whats in the console:
WiFi capabilities - making the xbox 360 look a generation behind here as you dont require to buy any wireless router for your playstation and this is brilliant with wireless capabilities now.
Wireless controllers - similar to the xbox here, however the playstation controllers do not require batteries to be replaced every so often like the Xbox 360. A simple USB cable comes along with the playstation allowing you to play and charge at the same time and charges last a good length of time for playing.
BluRay player/dvd player - the PS3 can play both bluray and dvd discs, which is brilliant especially if bluray takes over from DVD as you already have a bluray player bought and when alone a bluray player can cost £150+ why not just get it in a games console?
3.2Ghz proccesor means the PS3 can carry out calculations at huge speeds allowing for flowing gaming and little loading times.
Fans are quiet and can hardly be heard much quieter than the xbox 360 which overheats as well.

Two Usb ports at the front allow you to charge a controller and have another accessory in at the same time, very handy. However no memory card slot like other playstations.

40GB hard drive is huge and is more than enough memory unless you intend to keep movies and songs on here, or tv programmes which you can now save on your ps3 with PlayTv.

The playstation 3 is superb and with game such as Drakes Fortune using a large proportion of the playstaions power you will never be disappointed with it. SUPERB!!!

Picked up for around £200 it is a no thinker and should be bought now.

Summary: Amazing console, and a must have for every living room.
