Advantages: another triumph to be proud of in your multimedia collection

Disadvantages: THE PRICE!!!!!!

I bought my playstation 3 console off amazon for £299.99 and I have to say that even though it was a steep price, I feel it was money well spent for the following reasons:

First of all its appearance is stylish and attractive.

it is also a bluray player, which means you can buy bluray films which are high quality with true to life colours.

The games are also bluray and so games are more realistic enabling you to have the ultimate gaming experience.

The wireless controller sets a new standard for playstation gaming such as being able to use it as a car steering wheel by turning it side to side.

The impressive 40 gb hard drive can be used to store hours of film and thousands of songs and pictures.

The disadvantages of the ps3 40 gb are the price, the lack of backward compatibilliy(you cant play your collection of ps2 games unlike the 60 gb version) and the consoles online play on occasions is interupted by random error messages.

Summary: a must buy for gamers
