Ive always owned a playstation. So when I picked my ps3 up well over a year ago I was pretty excited.

Of course I weighed up the pros and cons of buying the ps3 over the xbox 360. What won it for me was the multi media capabilities.
Built in blu ray player, upscaler, internet and free internet gaming. Two of my sons already have a 360 each and its costing £10 a month just for xbox live!

It looks gorgeous, graphics are top notch and the games available are excellent.
The upscaler works well and Blu-ray looks amazing.
To be honest I dont really use the internet but it does support BBC iPlayer which is useful and I can also check my ebay/ browse the internet with relative ease.

So far ive upgraded my ps3 with a 160gb hardive (which doesnt affect warranty) Have a nice upright stand which illuminates the console a cool blue and im planning to have some artwork skinned for it. Bit kinky eh?

The playstation store is pretty cool with lots of demos of upcoming games, wallpapers and themes to download. Dont personally agree with buying new games at full price as there is no resale value. But that really is up to the individual.
