Advantages: Great graphics, sound, online, dvd, games and everything!

Disadvantages: Games are fairly expensive

Surely the next gen console for years to come the ps3 gives you everything you could ask for in one slightly bulking but sexy looking console. The black and silver gives it a classy look and it will look good where ever you put it. It is a very heavy console which isn't the easiest to move around.

<>Graphics and sound<>

The graphics are simply stunning whether you use hd or not. Many of the games such as gta look like real life and are crystal clear. Every aspect is brilliant, the hdmi cable really makes a difference though. I couldn't believe how much clearer and better it was with hd. The sound is stunning to, music and commentary on games are brilliant to listen to and aren't "muffled" at all.

<>running, ease of menus<>

The machine runs smoothly and fairly quietly but does get very hot! The menus are identical to the psp and are very clear and easy to run through and understandable. Each bit has an info section which helps you get to grips with what every technical term is/means. The controllers run brilliantly as well, wireless makes them very easy and handy to use as there is no untangling of wires! they are very responsive and are everything you need.

<>Dvd/Blu ray<>

Either with dvds or blu rays the ps3 is great. It upscales dvds to nearer hd which makes them look and sound better. The controls are easy to use with a controller or remote. The blu ray is also easy to use and the graphics are stunning, hd-esque.

Ps3 has the widest range of games available of all consoles. It has genres for everyone, fun kids games to sporty games and adult game like gta it really does cater for anyone.

<> price and online<>

The prices of the ps3 are falling all the time and can now be picked up for around £270 which is good considering internet is free. This makes it cheaper than xbox including online as xbox live is very expensive for what it is.

The best console by miles, a great buy and is now becoming cheaper and cheaper. It really has everything. i give it 5/5
