Great, but 40gb is not enough! (Sony Playstation 3 40 GB)

Advantages: best machines ever made

When it comes to my PS3 I love it, it is just one of the greatest machines ever made. I just had to buy this PS3 as I loved my PS1 & PS2.

The Playstation 3 is great as it has nearly everything that you need to enjoy a gaming experience- HD gaming, Bluetooth, USB ports, DVD, harddrive.

The gaming experience on the PS3 is great as you are really able to play in great quality. With the Ps3 having an optical cable out put you are able to connect it to a home cinema system and enjoy a 5.1 sound experience.

The controllers on the PS3 are great as they are wireless and run on Bluetooth, the connection has quite a long range and also the battery lasts quite long, around a week for me while playing a lot every day, however I have the old controllers.
The console itself looks good, it has a shiny finish to it, but it does not come with the silver plate finish that the 60gb comes with.

One of the other great things that I love about the PS3 is the USB functions, where I am able to use my own USB media, plug it into the PS3 and view the files on the TV. This way I am able to view video's, music or photographs on the media onto the big screen without having to burn a CD.

The Vidzone is something new that has come into the PS3, it is an online music video gallery, and it has some of the latest music videos in there, both English and Indian music. The Vidzone is really use as the quality of both the music and video is great. An annoying thing about the Vidzone is that it does take some time for the application to start running.

Also something new is the iPlayer button that has been placed in the menu bar now. It gives direct access to the bbc iPlayer, in great quality. Something that I have been using a lot recently.

The PS3 has the best video output out, a full HD TV, I love playing on my 46" TV. The quality on the full HD setting is just too good; it is something that you are missing out if you have not seen it before.

I cannot wait for the games to be coming out at the end of 2009, there are so many to get for this.

The only down side is the fact that you only get 40gb, which means where you download around 13 demos your PS3 is full, I am currently buying a new HD drive for the PS3, am looking at a 320gb one, they are quite cheap too pick up and the installation is quite easy.
