I got my ps3 a few months ago and am fully pleased with sony's new console.

First of all, the design is smart, modern and looks overall fantastic. Its larger than the previous ps2 but is packed with power and overwhelming capabilities.

The ps3 features a powerful cell processor, plenty of RAM and RSX graphics card making it one of the most powerful consoles out there on the market.
Value for money is superb when you think about it. It includes an amazing blue ray player, a HDD of 80gb, plentiful for photos and videos along with game saves etc, and in some cases a free game or controller. The controller in itself is pretty ingenious with the motion sensor and looks promising as more games incorperate this into the gameplay. Dualshock 3 soons arrives which will include the old famous rumble and motion sensor combined. It is also completely wireless, so no messy wires to trip over etc.

Online play is completely free and is contantly updated and includes the PSN network to download the latest demos, video clips and additional game content. The PS3 has the ability to connect to your PSP in which you can view photos, videos and more stored on your ps3 system. And expect more things to come with future updates! The ps3 has its own web browser so you can get immediately searching the net.

PS3 currently supports all video outputs, right up to 1080P so your games can look even better in full HD. An HDMI cable however needs to be purchased. The PS3 also runs with the production of minimal noise. Sometimes I don't even know its on!

The collections of games available to ps3 is ever growing, and has many decent exclusive titles which will be sure to amaze as we travel through 2009.

Overall good points: In the long run, great value for money, easy to use and a promising exclusive game line up.

Overall Bad Points: No exclusive with old ps1 or ps2 games, Online community needs to be improved.
