The Sony playstation 3 has had lots of negative reviews about this by many people and for many reasons. From my point of view i really cannot understand why it is my faviourate video game console iv had. The console it self is very light and fits easily into your lounge or bedroom or any room you want. The console when turned on is very quite compared to the xbox 360 and hardly makes any noise what so ever when you play games or are download things from the internet. The consoles feuteres are superb and include HD Graphics, A blueray player, An exellent variety of games, Free network, A playstation store where you can download many things such as game, trailers, demos, themes, wallpapers and many more things and the store just keeps on growning!

Sony has Created this console in a way as such as it is not just used as a console in the house. It holds a new technoligy blueray dvd player that lets you watch all of the hd films on the shelf but also all of your normall dvds you have and ina very easy manner. all you need is your wireless playstation 3 controller to use as your dvd remote which lets you do your normall tasks of pausing rewindind and such..

Sony have also introduced bluetooth technology into the console making the controllers wirelles which helps alot for storage and also lets you play your console from any place in your house also the bluetooth can be used for your headset for when talking to your friends in online chat or ingame chat this lets you use any of your normal handsfree devices as a playstation microphone or you can also buy playstation made microphone.

Another good point about the playstation 3 is the variety of games it has to offer there are thousandsof gameswith many different genres including action rpg horror racing adventure and many more. The oly bad side of the games are that unlike the ps2 the games on the playstation 3 are very expensive. They cost around £40 pound a game sometimes more but if you go to the right places you can get a great deal such as tesco uselly sell new game for around £30 pounds wich is a great offer compared to shops such as Game and Game station.

Overall i have no badpoints personally about the playstation and would reccomend it everybody that has the money for them.It is a very good console and you can find yourself spending hours on it without realising.
