Disadvantages: still expensive, not enough releases

I got a PS1 pretty early on and fell in love with it. Before then all Id had was a mega drive, and the 'realistic' graphics totally blew me away. I preordered the PS2 and was one of the first few in the country to get it. Naturally I was very excited about getting the PS3, but the initial ridiculous price tag stopped me.

Sony seemed to lose the plot roundabout the release of the PSP. They wouldnt release enough titles, they would charge wayy too much for everything, and they wouldnt listen to the consumers requests for features and products.

Now 2 years later the slow burner that is the PS3 is really ocming into its own. I bought one recently and I'm pretty impressed with it now. The graphics, power and features are excellent.

One of the best things about the console is the online PSN store. You can download numerous demos for new games and get a great deal of fun playing the regularly updated range without spending a penny.

I'd still argue that there isnt enough games for it though.

Summary: If you havnt got a console yet, get this!
