The greatness of the play station 3, is it has full internet access, unlike the PS2. The PS3 has Wifi so you can wirlessley connected it to the net, altho this is a bit slow with the PS3. You can also use a wired connection, which I find is a lot faster than wireless.

The PS3 has a great multi player feauture if you are connected to the internet with a Wifi game, you can play others accross the world with the game.

It has USB 2 USB sockets, which you can transfer media using these.

The wireless controller is also amazing, it saves the mess and cables to the PS3, with a very good range and perfect connection, the contoller also lasts quite a whileout having to re-charge the controller, which plugs into your USB socket.

The PS3 is quite bulky tho and big compared to other consoles, but the space is worth it for all the extras.

The graphics compared to the PS2 are excellent, and also HD compatible.

The PS3 also has it's own mail feature for other uses of the PS3 on the net.
A feature I like is the USB ear piece to talk to other PS3 users.

Some printers, like cannon and epson can connect to the PS3 via USB or bluetooth, to print of your pictures and anything else.

I would give the PS3 to ages 7 years + with an exception to certain games. As some games are for the older ones
