Advantages: great handheld device, so much fun

I bought my PSP when it first came out about three years ago and i am still using it to this day. It is brilliant when you are sitting on a train and have nothing else to do but have a little play on the PSP. The graphics on the little handheld console are brilliantly good. The games are stored on minidisc style mini cds. They are easy to store and are not prone to scratching either.

The console sits rather nicely in the hand and feels just like a Playstation 2 controller with a screen on it. The button layout is almost exactly the same as the Ps2 controller as well.

There so many brilliant little applications on the PSP as well. You can watch films and store music, although you will need to buy a memory card if you do this. You can also connect your PSP to a playstation 3 and use it as a controller. This works surprisingly well too. The PSP also has the ability to connect to the internet too meaning you can downlod new applications and other things as well.

If you have an earlier model PSP then you can hack the firmware and put thousands of games on your PSP for free if you download them off the internet. You can also hack the firmware on later PSP modls but this can be dangerous.

All in all i would say that this is an excellent portable sonsole and really does beat the nintendo DS in my opinion.
