Advantages: Good all round

Disadvantages: no streaming support

There is a new PSP 3000 out but this is definitely the best compared to all the PSP's, this is slim unlike 1000 and has the best picture quality unlike 3000. At the moment due to the new 3000 psp the prices are cheaper and this is probably the best time to pick one of these up. You can install custom firmware onto the product although please note that downloading games that you do not own is illegal. This can be achieved with pandoras battery which is widely available. The PSP itself is very good in playing games although the UMD format is a pain due to its slow pick up time to the PSP. Watching videos is amazing although you do have to convert the videos in the first place and you cannot stream videos without installing custom firmware with extra software. The internet browser is good but it may run out of memory at times due to the high quality of pictures on some sites.
