The new and improved PSP Slim (Sony PSP Slim & Lite)

Advantages: Lighter, faster and more stable than before.

Disadvantages: They should have an ordinary headphone socket.

When this was released I felt that it was worth upgrading to from my ordinary PSP. The main advantage for me was that the new PSP slim offered the ability to connect to a TV. As friends are family are often over at my house I thought that it was an excellent feature because it allows you to share the gameplay more easily.

The new PSP slim also had a reduced power consumption and so the battery life was enhanced. Of course this is very useful to anyone who is travelling quite a bit and requires a longer battery life. It is also now significantly lighter than the previous version which makes it more comfortable to handle and generally use (Supposedly it is 33% lighter now). I must also say that the buttons of the new PSP slim feel a lot firmer and generally more satisying to press. The interface for the PSP is excellent and really is good fun to use. I don't like the fact that it doesn't come with a standard headphone socket and the headphone sthat are supplied with are rubbish, they offer no power what so ever.

The new PSP slim also loads much faster than before which is always a positive. Overall I was glad that I upgraded my old PSP to this new PSP Slim version which is generally more stable. There is a wide selcection of UMD games and movies available which is ever-expanding and so I would highly recommend this for those who travel a fair bit. It is brilliant to be playing on GTA vice city for example, in a car with your friend. I hope this has been useful and thank you very much for reading this.
