The best in handheld gaming (Sony PSP Slim & Lite)

The PSP Slim & Lite is now in reality in its final year, for a new one will soon be coming out later in the year with upgraded features and games. In the time that I have had my PSP slim though, I have found it to be a fantastic media player and games console, and with the new one coming out, you could probably bag a second hand one for a bargain price.

The Slim now comes in a variety of colours and packages, so there are many options for people to choose from, allowing them to choose the PSP that suits them the best and the one that they are most comfortable with. This is because it has been out for such a long time and has become very popular during this time period.

The graphics of the PSP are better than any other portable games machine out there, I have found them to be of a good quality, but they will be updated soon to a much higher PS3 like quality, they are good at the moment, rendering games in good detail, but will soon become outdated in favour of the PSP2.

The media capabilities are extensive the PSP slim, users have the ability to surf the web, play games, listen to music, and watch videos, and any extra media can be stored on a memory card in the Pro Duo slot, which can now store up to 8GB of memory, plenty enough for the job needed, these memory cards can now be bought for a good rate, around £15 each, not bad at all.

The PSP is a machine that I would recommend to anyone out there after a games console. It is durable, great for media, and fits in your pocket. If i were a potential buyer, I would either wait till the new one is released later in the year, or buy one of these for a great price (you could probably bag one for a sweet £50) when the new one is released.
