... it won’t work! The automatic function does this for you anyway! Despite being a fairly basic machine, the VCR does have some good features. One that hubby especially likes, is the CM-CUT feature. This allows you to skip through commercial breaks during playback. Pressing the CM-CUT button fast-forwards the tape by 30 secs, so for a 4-minute interval, you just need to press the button 8 times quickly and off it goes, automatically resuming playback when done! My Sanyo video recorder, which I purchased new has an annoying habbit of de-tuning itself for no apparent reason. Many a time I have set it up to Video a program, pressed record and gone out.
