... unlucky as it does seem to be pretty poor for a Toshiba but I’m sure it will outperform a lot of cheaper make video recorders I could have go for the same price. The sound quality on titanic is relayed well, it sound if you are in a cinema when played via my HIFI separates. A good effort but theirs to much competition and VHS is slowly dying. My Toshiba video is not bad for the price (although I got in a sale for just £100!) if I paid the RRP price of £170 I wouldn’t be to pleased! The picture quality is good and the sound is good during playback. Its when I record things its not so good, I think the recording heads faulty and there is a windy background noise on all the recording and the voices tend sound be to high pitched and distorted as if the record level is set to high. Other than that major problem its been OK. Maybe I have just been unlucky as it does seem to be pretty poor for a Toshiba but I’m sure it will outperform a lot of cheaper make video recorders I could have go for the same ...
