When we brought our second computer about 5/6 years ago now, my mother and grandmother were sold on a Anti Virus software called Norton. I did go a little bit off the rails at one point last year, which resulted in 60 trojans on my computer, Norton had to go, it had not found any of them and it wasn t until I downloaded the free software called AVG that these Trojans were found. Avast 4 Home Edition ... have had a endless lists of diffrent anti viruses. avast is really the only one i have finally ended up sticking with. it has great protection which is for me very important as i use windows, obviously most common for viruses, and i am also a common downloader. therefore after a little research i read that avast was a great anti virus and provided exceptional protection. i msut agre i have been very happy since i got avast. my previous anti virus wwas extremely strong protection but unfortunatly slowed down my pc conisderably. i have had avast ever since and i must say that i would recomend it to anyone. there are updates at least everyday and avast kindly informs you... AVG Internet Security 8.0 ... the past I have had experience with Internet Security applications such as McAffee and Norton. I felt they were very laggy and were constantly causing unwanted problems for my PC. So when I went in search of something else, I discovered AVG.
