Avast 4 Home Edition ... have had a endless lists of diffrent anti viruses. avast is really the only one i have finally ended up sticking with. it has great protection which is for me very important as i use windows, obviously most common for viruses, and i am also a common downloader. therefore after a little research i read that avast was a great anti virus and provided exceptional protection. i msut agre i have been very happy since i got avast. my previous anti virus wwas extremely strong protection but unfortunatly slowed down my pc conisderably. i have had avast ever since and i must say that i would recomend it to anyone. there are updates at least everyday and avast kindly informs you... Avast 4 Home Edition ... The whole application itself seems a lot more simplistic and is easy to use. Avast is totally free for home use as they have a commercial version which they charge companies for. I think the license lasts for over a year before it stops updating the virus checker but once this runs out you can just log onto their website and download the application again and get another years absolutely free. Alwil who are the makers of Avast anti-virus offer support by email if you are struggling with any aspect of the application. Although just to make a point I have never emailed them as I haven t experienced any problems as of yet so I wouldn t know if the service was of any use. ...
