The best Antivirus you can find for free, but better than other viruses which are expensive but are not going to do the job as Avast is doing it!

I dont have it but a friend has just tried it and has sumountable problems.
Once loaded. he returned again to reboot the computer:
Slow startup, no broadband access, cannot unload it because their is no uninstall file, cannot access control panel to unload and cannot access "Restore"
He has asked my help and can varify these points - where from here??

I would avoid at all costs unless somebody can give a workaround.
