*INTRODUCTION*

I have been using Panda Antivirus for a while now. I find this so easy to use and very effective. I won?t use the internet without using any kind of antivirus running. I have tried many programs to keep my computer safe but always became unreliable.

*WHAT IS PANDA*

Panda is antivirus software, which keeps out nasty things form harming your computer. Panda as its own firewall for extra protection for your computer; I do feel safe using Panda. Panda also has a email checker that checks your emails as they enter your inbox if panda finds any that are infected then they are disinfected. When you launch panda you will see a bar running across the top, which holds the following,

Update ? This means you can update your panda antivirus. This will give you more protection and more virus signatures, which mean it, will catch more viruses.

Report ? This is a report of the activity from your firewall. You will find here things that been attempting to get through the firewall and ones that have also been blocked.

Virus List ? This kind of speaks for itself, this gives you a list of viruses that can be detected by panda and also their characteristics.

General Options ? This is where you can change general options about panda to suit you better. All options are pretty straight forward to follow although I have never used the options as I have found no need to.

In The Control Panel

Home ? This gives you a fully an update of the status of panda, Program status, Permanent Protection status, and also reminders.

Full Scan ? Clicking here will let you choose what you want to scan on your computer, you can either scan your entire computer or just one drive, and you can also choose folders to scan also.

Permanent Protection ? This gives you a run down on what is enabled and what is disabled. Also any viruses that have been found and the status of them.

Hospital ? Cl
icking this will open 2 bars underneath the control panel if you have not got anything in the way of protection enabled; this will give you the chance to enable them now through the hospital. I have never had to use this feature.

Services ? Clicking here will show you services available for registered users, although I have never tried these out, but maybe I will.

*EASE OF USE*

Panda is easy to use, it takes no time to make your way around the antivirus and all is easy to understand. There is required help in the control panel if you ever get a little unsure about things.

*DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING*

Downloading and installing is simple to do. Download the file to your computer, depending on your connection it could take a while. Then once you have downloaded it run the setup file, then just follow the instructions. It is doesn?t take long to install it only takes a few minutes and then your ready to set it to protect your computer.

*AVAILABILITY*

You can download the trial version of this product here http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/platinum7/ although I am not sure how long the trial last for as I have had no need to download it. As mine is bought. But it gives you chance to let you see the product before you go purchase it. You can buy it from all top computer shops, and online at places like amazon and ebay.com

*PRICE*

You can buy panda from around £35 - £45, depending where you buy it from. Which is not much when it is protecting your computer?

*FINAL OPINION*

I think this is the most effective piece of software I have ever used in the way it keeps your computer protected. Also note that panda works with any windows and also has 24/7 Technical support. See what you think about it if you don?t already use it.
