Free Spyware protection at it's best (Spybot S&D 1.6)

A piece of kit thats been around for quite a while, and is simply a must have as protection against spyware.

Upon start-up it asks you if you want to create a registry back-up and even tells you how many temporary files you have that can be cleaned up to prevent prolonged searching time.

With a realtime registry protection, this tells you when anything in the registry is being changed with an allow/deny course of action.

It's Main Features:

Search & Destroy - As it say's, it quickly scans your entire computer for infections and threats. (instead of taking forever going through every file, it searches for the known files and what-not to complete the task quicker)

Recovery - Every file/threat that is deleted has a back-up made in case of any problems, this is the place where you can undo any previous actions you regret taking.

Immunize - When you click this button, it immediately detects how threats can access your browser and list's files that are available to be infected (cookies, IP's, Domains, Plug-ins, Global hosts, pop-ups etc..) and gives you the chance to "immunize" yourself against future spyware attacks.

Within 3 seconds of clicking the Immunize button, it gave me a list of 102,152 files currently available for spyware to attack JUST through my internet browser. (thank god i just checked that)

The other 2 features are Update (which takes seconds) and Donate (because all free software deserves a thank you) which are pretty self explanatory.

I personally recommend useing Avira and SUPERantispyware along with this program to fully protect yourself!

As much as this review is an advertisement for the product, you really can't appreciate how helpful it really is until it saves your bacon.
