IMO... THE best antivirus i've ever come-across.... and guess what, it's free!

The amazing piece of free software (although it sounds suspiciously like a virus itself) picks up all the viruses that any other antivirus i tried couldn't.

Whilst is doesn't have a realtime virus catcher (although available with payment) i found that this is amazingly easy to use, it is simply the best at what it does.

It's menu is compiled of only 5 buttons, each with whats listed so it's easy to find what your after.

It offer's internet explorer hi-jack protection, and notifies you when your homepage and system settings are trying to be changed with an allow/deny access choice.
It even protects itself by not letting any application besides the Task Manager shut the program down, so if you are infected, you can still fight it.

It allows for quick scans, fully customizable scans, (specific folders and the like) full computer scans, manageable quarantine zone and an allowed/trusted items list.
Although scheduled scanning only comes with the upgrade.

For such a simple and lightweight program, i cannot stress how useful it has been, i use this program with Avira, Spybot and PeerGuardian2. I've never had a virus since.
