Advantages: Great protection against malware

Disadvantages: Have to download two seperate add ons

Norton 360 2.0 offers comprehensive protection against spyware and virus alike. It also offers protection against data loss, identity loss and phishing, thus covering all the nasty threats that you could come across. It can also "tune up" your pc for you and defrag it at the same time.For some unknown reason you have to download anti spam protection and parental controls as seperate add ons which is a bit of a bind.
Older versions of Symantecs scanners were complete system hogs and the company has taken this on board to make the 360 use a lighter footprint that will delay the scans until the computer is not so busy, which may not be such a good thing because if your working on some intensive tasks then the scans can take hours and hours to complete.Also included is the support for Firefox web browsers, and an adequate two way firewall.
This product gets top VB100 scores constantly so users are assured of the suites protection abilities.
