Seven Seas Advanced Formula Multibionta
Advantages: A-Z Multivitamins, Probiotic and Minerals
Disadvantages: No good oils
A healthy lifestyle is a must if you want to look and feel your best. Certainly I try to eat as well as I can (most of the time!) and ensure I get the nutrients I need in the food I eat. I also try and exercise, but sometimes, just like with most things, nature needs a helping hand.
So, with that in mind I have started to take a daily multivitamin to supplement my lifestyle. I have gone for Seven Seas Multibionta 'Advanced Formula' Probiotic Multivitamin.
***Price and Availability***
I paid £6.99 for a tub of 60 Multibionta on special offer at Sainsbury's, the usual cost in any pharmacy or supermarket is around £7.50.
I have seen this brand in the big four supermarkets as well as Boots, Superdrug, Lloyds and selected independent pharmacies.
You can also purchase the same vitamins for age 50+ which are tailored to the needs of the older person.
The bottle comes in a cardboard box, and like the tub itself the dominant colour is blue. The tub is white with a blue lid and a label which states 'Seven Seas Multibionta Probiotic Multivitamin', 'Advanced Formula', 'Complete multivitamins with minerals and probiotics' and 'for today's hectic lifestyles'. Certainly this appeals to all ages and both sexes.
They're actually rather large, for vitamins, but they do have the probiotic element as well as the mineral element too. They are white on one side and a sand colour on the other with contrasting stripes in the middle. They are about 2cm long, and very smooth.
They are quite easy to take despite their slightly larger size due to how smooth they are and thankfully there is no unpleasant smell associated with them, nor any flavour to speak of whatsoever. Certainly, taking these vitamins is no chore and I find it easy fitting them into my daily routine - as you only need to take one a day I take mine with my morning cuppa.

As you can see there is plenty here to ensure your day to day supplemental needs are taken care of. The probiotic element helps the gut, which in turn can aid those suffering from digestive complications like IBS.
Of course, you do still need to live an active and healthy lifestyle. No-one's perfect, though, and these are a welcome helping hand to people like myself.
***Feel any different?***
Yes I do - I do feel more awake, my digestive system is working well, my skin is clear and bright and my hair and nails are strong. I cannot attribute all of this to Multibionta but for me it's a vitamin I do feel tangible results from and that lasts me two months for only £7 - so I think it's a bargain too. My husband and my dad also take vitamins in the Multibionta range (Activate and 50+) and they also feel that they benefit.
You won't suddenly feel fabulous - of course like any supplement you need to allow a minimum of two weeks to really feel any difference, but I would say that if you need a bit of pep, or have a restricted diet (say if you are a vegetarian) and want to ensure you are getting your full range of vitamins and minerals you can do a lot worse than Seven Seas Multibionta.
Yes I would - it's not a 'quick win' but it's certainly a helping hand that you can give yourself for only a few pounds a month. As there are no oils in this pill, I would advise that if you want to, you can also take a combined Omega 3 and Fish Oil (Cod Liver Oil) tablet, which really helps with rheumatics, and aids brain development and memory.
As with any pill, if you have any underlying medical conditions, are pregnant or are currently on prescribed medication, always check with your GP before embarking on any new tablets.
Summary: Well worth trying as part of your daily routine
