“ Users of Well Woman consistently report notable improvements in both energy and immunity to viruses. Whilst they are not the cheapest, they are one of the more trustworthy and proven options available. „
im 45 on my 4th month taking wellwoman not so sure haven't made much difference in how I feel as I work 2 jobs very busy still feeling tired and haven't really helped my sleping pattern skin glows and looks healthier was hopin id feel much more alive
I have been taking the Wellwoman capsules since the beginning of May this year so coming up for almost 5 months now. I first purchased them as I wanted to make sure I was getting vitamins into my system as in all honesty my diet isn't the best, I also do shift work and I felt like I had very little energy.
I chose the Vitabiotics Wellwoman Original as also contain Evening Primrose and Starflower Oils in them.
The vitamins come packaged inside a cardboard box, which tells you that there are 30 capsules of Vitabiotics Wellwoman Original inside. I am told that they help maintain health, vitality and wellbeing. They include vitamins B6, B12 and iron which contribute to normal energy release and immune function. And that they also contain Micronutrients, Evening Primrose and Starflower Oils. The box has a photo of a woman on it and it looks like she is letting the warmth of the sun hit her face.
According to the box "Wellwoman has been designed for the demands of modern life. With a wide range of nutrients and trace elements, Wellwoman gives nutritional support to the areas of health which are of most relevance to women."
There is also a full list of the nutritional information and the RDA % (where applicable).
Inside the box are two purple blister packs which contain 15 vitamin tablets in each pack. The back of these are clear so you can see the tablets without having to take them out of the blister pack.
The tablets are brown in colour and are quite large in size - they are about 2 cm in length.
When I first saw the tablets I was a little bit worried as I don't find taking tablets very easy, but they are a caplet rather than round which is a bit easier for me.
The instructions tell me to take one capsule each day and with my main meal, to be taken with water or a cold drink. I usually take mine after my evening meal.
I actually don't find taking them too bad, they are coated in a shiny film so they go down fairly easily, although if you don't swallow them immediately you notice the taste quite quickly and it isn't very pleasant!
As I said I have been taking these for almost five months now and I have definitely felt the benefits of them, within a few months I noticed that I wasn't feeling lethargic as I had done previously and when I get home from work after a 12 hour shift most of the time I can stay awake longer than I was doing before (around 9pm some nights!). The biggest difference I have noticed though is whereas before it felt like I was always getting colds and sniffles but now I've barely had one at all. On the occasions that I thought I was going to get a cold I've had a bit of bunged up nose for a day or two but it's not materialised into a full blown cold - hooray.
It is worth noting that it does recommend that you take these regularly as the benefits are thought to build up over time, with this in mind if you just take them for one month you might not notice any difference. I feel that they have worked very well for me, so I will continue to take them on a daily basis.
Wellwoman Original is available in boxes of 30 and 90 tablets.
A box of 30 tablets will set you back between £3.53 and £6.30 depending on where you purchase them from.
I order mine through the Amazon Subscribe and Save service which is the lowest price I have found them and also means that I don't have to worry about remembering to by them (although they are currently not in stock :( ) .
I have seen them in Asda and they always seem to be on a 3 for £10 offer or in the 3 for 2 offer at Boots.
I was looking for a multi-vitamin product because I felt so depleted and tired all the time and felt that my diet wasn't as balanced as it should be and that maybe I was missing out on some important minerals or nutrients. I also suffer quite alot from PMT and so when I saw Vitabiotics Wellwoman (original) capsules on special offer in Boots promoting health, vitality & wellbeing I was curious as to what was being offered above and beyond your standard multi-vitamin. They purport to being the No. 1 UK women's supplement brand and concentrate particularly on what women's bodies need.
The nutrients and trace elements these capsules contain are wide ranging and those included that may be of particular interest to women are evening primrose oil and starflower oil which can help maintain a healthy hormone balance throughout your cycle. I have found that my mood swings are far less severe (to the relief of me, my husband and children) since taking these although it has not helped the issue I have with sore breasts. However my mood swings were so bad I consulted my doctor but because I was a smoker she would not put me on the pill (something thought to also help with PMT) but having had such good results with these and getting far more in addition to the alleviated mood swings I prefer these and will not go on the pill even though I now could having given up the smokes!
The iron, magnesium and vitamin B complex help with the release of energy and I have definitely felt an improvement in my levels although it did take up to three months before I really noticed the difference. There is help with the immune system (including vitamin C and citrus bioflavonoids) and vitamin E, zinc and natural carotenoids help maintain healthy hair, nails, skin and cell renewal. My hair has definitely improved in vitality and shine although I was thinking this was down to my change of shampoo and conditioner (see my reviews on Elvive restore 5!) but equally it could be down to these and my nails (a nightmare, refusing to grow ever since having children) seem much stronger. I have also noticed that my skin has been clearer for quite a while (I often suffer breakouts) so in all in, I can only say these appear to have done wonders for me all round and I will continue to take these as the results are worth the price tag.
You only take one capsule a day with your main meal which is quite important because if you take these on an empty stomach they can make you feel sick.
I bought a 90 day's supply which retails around £16 as I know it takes a good three months to usually see results and so thought it better value bu you can get 30 capsules for around £6.00.
Thank you for reading. x

Why I chose this product:-
While i was a University student, i was constantly suffering from colds and throat complaints, i blamed this on the mass sharing of facilities and the dreaded freshers flu, (however, more realistically it was down to the copious amouts of wine consumed at the student union and the poor diet of fish fingers and oven chips everyday). I was feeling pretty run down one day, my energy zapped but had t run a few errands in town. I popped into Boots Chemist and decided to meander down the Vitamins aisle. To be honest i didn't know what i was looking for i hadnt taken vitamins since i was a child and those where the chewable kind. I came across Wellwoman which promised to help maintain health, vitality and wellbeing. I also rememebered reading an article in some magazine or another that Cat Deely took these, and well if they are good anough for Cat, theyre good enough for me.

How to use this product:-

The effects of this viatmin are not immediate you need to take them for about a month before feeling and seeing the positive effects. However after that time i noticed my skin was clearer and brighter, my nails were stronger and my immune system definatly boosted- ive had a few sniffles in the year or so ive used it but no full blown colds. i havnt seen a massive increase in my energy levels but i cant expect miracles. id also make sure you do eat before taking or it will make you feel sick.
I'd definatly suggest this product, as long as you make the commitment to take them everyday, you will be the benefits.
I started using Wellwoman about 3 years ago. I was suffering from very bad PMT and causing my partner misery with my moods every month, so had to do something about it. Wellwoman was one product I was recommended. After just a couple of months I realised that I was no longer suffering (or being as insufferable). I still get emotional, but since taking Wellwoman I find the mood swings are much less extreme. This may be a coincidence, but I'm not planning to stop taking them to find out!
As an added benefit, I've found my nails are now stronger and grow much longer than they ever have in my life before.
I have been taking Wellwomen supplement for the past year. I had been feeling run down, I got three cold sores one after the other and a sore throat that kept coming and going. I had been to my doctor and he said it was a virus and to let it run its course. A friend of mine recommended Wellwoman. She had been taking them for some months and was feeling a lot better as a result. She had been experiencing similar symptoms to me. Wellwoman is made by Vitabiotics and is an all-round supplement for women. It is in capsule form and contains vitamins and minerals designed to help women maintain health and energy levels. The main ingredients are Evening Primrose Oil Starflower Oil Vitamin B Complex Trace Minerals Vitamins C, E Folic Acid Natural Mixed Carotenoids Wellwoman is intended to help women with five main areas these are Skin, hair and nails, to maintain healthy skin and for cell renewal. The immune system to help keep it healthy. Energy release to help with the release of energy from food. The Monthly Cycle, to help maintain healthy hormone balance and nervous system. Conception, if you are trying to or are pregnant, for a baby’s healthy development. One capsule should be taken per day with a main meal and with a full glass of water. Wellwoman comes in a box of 30 capsules and costs £5.99 per box, available from most chemists. I was lucky enough to get my last supply from Boots when they were doing the buy 2 get 1 free promotion. The leaflet included with the capsules is very useful as it details all the ingredients and gives advice on eating, drinking, smoking and exercise. I started to notice an improvement in my health when I had been taking Wellwoman for a couple of months. One of the first things was that my nails, which were growing a lot quicker than normal. I have only had one cold sore since and this cleared up a lot sooner than
the previous ones. I have also stopped getting sore throats. On the whole I have been feeling a lot healthier and less tired and lethargic. I know you cannot rely on vitamins and supplements and it is important to eat a healthy diet and take regular exercise and I do try to look after myself. However, as a working mom with two kids sometimes you need a little help. I would therefore recommend Wellwoman as it has certainly helped me. For all the men that read this Vitabiotics also man Wellman capsules. So perhaps one of you would like to try them and write your own opinion. If you want any further information their website is www.vitabiotics.com.
Well Woman is a vitamin and mineral supplement aimed at women. It has all the usual vitamins from A to E as well as Evening Primrose Oil, Starflower Oil, natural mixed carotenoids, and a whole bunch of trace minerals. Basically it is all the vitamin supplements plus a few extras rolled into one. I have been using thes supplements for about 4 months now and I have noticed a definite difference in my nails and hair. I am a vegetarian and a rather picky one at that and for a long time I have wondered whether my flaky nails were as a result of lack in my diet. A consultant in Boots recommended Well Woman to me as a general all round supplement and I am very impressed with the results. The only drawbacks to this product is that you can't take them on an empty stomach ( tried this and was sick ) and the capsules are rather on the large side so if you are not good at swallowing tablets then these will be no good for you. Well Woman is reasonable priced when you consider what you are saving on buying all the vitamins and minerals separately and does show results in a few months if my nails are anything to go by.
