... other then just whey, it has BCAA`s in it - arginine and alanine for example, arganine can help with the absorbsion of protein but most top quality proteins have this as standard....so my basic theory is this...Biovec is trying to flog a sub standard protein (and I say this because Biovec are essentially a posh version of Holland and Barrett and they may have a great selection of primrose oil but I like to buy my protein from companies who work specifically with athletes and sporty people), and this is their own brand...more

Ive been taking protein suppliments for around 10 years now, as well as many other body building and fitness suppliments such as carbs powders, BCAA`s and creatine to help with my preparation when I am boxing or when I have a big climb coming up. People who take these suppliments will tell you much of the experience and effectiveness is down to trial and error. Finding the right suppliment for you and sticking with it.
