~ DEFINITY CRISP BARS ~
The definity crisp bars are made by Maxitone and are part of the toning system range. The bars help you to achieve a firmer, more toned body and are great to eat as a snack rather than snacking on a bar of chocolate or something else sugary or fattening. Definity Crisp is a nutritious chocolate crisp bar to support your toning goals when combined with a healthy balanced diet and exercise routine. They also contain protein which makes them satisfying and stops hunger during the day and in between meals.
You can buy the bars individually or in boxes which contain 12 bars. The bars come in a silver coloured plastic wrapper which has a red stripe across the middle of the bar. On the front it states that the product is Definity Crisp and is part of the toning system. On the back of the bar you will find a list of ingredients, nutritional information and a best before date. It also states the website and address for Maximuscle, whom make all the maxitone products.

~ PACKAGING /APPEARANCE ~
When I opened the wrapper I got the scent of a slight chocolate smell, how-ever this wasn't very strong. I could also smell something else; how-ever I can't really describe how it smelt. It didn't smell unpleasant, but wasn't anything like I had smelt before. The bars are made from what I would describe as little balls of cereal, and then the bottom of the bar is covered in milk chocolate. The layer of chocolate looks very thin and only coats the bottom of the bar.
~ TASTE TEST ~
The bars are soft to bite into, but have quite a rough texture against your tongue. The bars are crispy, and you can taste the chocolate slightly, how-ever this isn't very strong, and doesn't really taste much like chocolate at all. They also have a bit of a strange taste to them, which goes with the strange smell I can't describe. The bars aren't really tasty; how-ever they are ok for a quick snack if I'm craving anything sweet or to snack on.
After I finished the bar I did feel satisfied, how-ever I was still craving something a little sweeter as this didn't have enough chocolate on to satisfy me; I did how-ever resist eating anything else as I wanted to see if the bars kept me feeling satisfied until lunch-time. The bar did keep me full until lunch-time and I didn't eat anything in between having the bar and having lunch. I did crave something sweeter during the day; how-ever I didn't really fancy another one of these bars as it was a little bland and odd tasting.
~ OVERALL OPINION ~
The bars by the maxitone range are a great idea, especially if you're on the go a lot of want a quick snack on something whilst travelling or on the move. These are convenient to keep in a gym or small bag. I have one of these as a mid-morning snack, and you can have one in the evening as well if you wish. I also use other Maxitone products like the shakes, and I have found that my legs & stomach have become more defined and toned. The bars are quite pricey to buy and for the price you pay they did taste very bland and a little strange. I have finished the box of bars that I purchased, but I am reluctant to buy them again, due to the high price and the bland taste. I can't give these any more than 2 out of 5 stars.
~ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ~
The Definity crisp bars are not aimed to help you lose weight. These are to support muscle toning, when combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise routine.
