      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Great supplement,totally worth it.

There are many marketed ways of taking calcium. From oxide to salts, you just can't tell what is the best way of taking this mineral supplement.
Personally,I have a huge respect for NOW Foods,it simply just didn't let me down.I have taken many supplements besides this, all of them being from NOW,and I can say that they are to be trusted.
This formula is a salt of citric acid and calcium, thus coming with 1 molecule of calcium at 2 molecules of citric acid.It is way better that the oxide form.I have tried many forms of calcium as a supplement, settling on the oxide form.
Besides the calcium,it also comes with vitamin D(which has a very important role in calcium absorption),manganese, copper, zinc and magnesium. All these minerals and the vitamin D are very important in the body's well being.
The effects of calcium administration aren't to be seen instantaneously, but in time.Actually, effects of calcium administrations are best seen when you don't take calcium at all.
Overall, my opinion regarding this supplement is that you should trust it if you want to add calcium as your supplement. It's worth it by far!
