A long time ago I started researching into taking a supplement of Evening Primrose Oil. I was about to hit 30 and after researching into it I did feel it would be beneficial to me so I have now taken it every day for about 6 years! I take it always and no matter what (apart from having a brief break which I will come on to later lol!) Why Did I Start Taking It? Well like I said I researched into taking different supplements before just simply taking them. My health at the time wasn't great and all that started me off on this was that one of my mates recommended it to me as a 'ladies' supplement and basically said it helped with 'women's' issues. ... Nature provides us with such beauty. Every night between June and September, the wildflower, Evening Primrose, opens its petals to the stars and the moon. Herbalists discovered that the seeds of this plant have healing properties. This may be nothing more than a myth as the science has not yet backed up the herbalists of old claims of Primrose oil being a cure for eczema (inflamed and itchy skin) and a nutritional support during the menstrual cycle, rheumatoid arthritis (inflammatory disorder of the joints), diabetes and breast pain. Evening Primrose Oil is a widely used supplement used by women. There is a good reason for that. It really does help with many of the more unpleasant both personally and to others features of being a woman. It helps pre-mentural syndrome which relieves both the person taking the Evening Primrose Oil and those living and working with her. It can help endometriois sufferers without having to go under the knife and ease the painful breasts which can make life miserable at the wrong time of the month. It does this because Evening Primrose Oil is so high in GLA - ... Read the complete review

I am a firm believer in Evening Primrose oil. I have been taking it for about 8 years and have tried a few different brands, and found aldi and sainsburys the best ones. Evening Primrose Oil is said to relieve a lot of the symptoms that are associated with the menstrual cycle. I find that they do generally make me less moody (which can only be a good thing) but I don't suffer many other symptoms, so I'm not too sure how they help all the others. The sainsburys capsules cost 72p for 30 x 500mg capsules, which isn't a bad price as that will obviously last for 4 weeks (I think it's generally recommended to only take one a day). You can also get a pot ... Read the complete review
