Winter is fast approaching, bringing with it the usual flurry of cold and flu germs. Unless you are planning to go a bit 'Howard Hughes' and severe all contact with the outside world, now is probably a good time to stock up on immune system boosting vitamin C. This is especially true if, like me, you are cooped up in an office all day, breathing everyone else's germs. When I arrived at work this morning I noticed that quite a few of my colleagues were looking a bit snotty, red eyed and bunged up (how attractive!). So in an attempt to ward off the inevitable hoards of germs that will be flinging themselves at me today, I popped over to Tesco's and picked up a tube ... Read the complete review

I have a bad immune system anyway and I know I don't eat nearly enough fruit and vegetables to get my daily requirements after reading up on the subject. The taste is really nice sparkling drink, orange in flavour, and it's very refreshing. Once dissolved the tablet doesn't leave a powdery taste and you wouldn't actually guess, if ... Whenever one of my colleagues gets a bad cold or a flu, they almost always come into work and sneeze all over the place in order to prove they are unwell before taking time off sick! When this happens, I go into battle mode to fight off the cold germs that have been spread around me. Tesco Effervescent Vitamin C tablets are one of the weapons in my armory, along with echinacea tablets and Vick's First Defence which I have reviewed already on dooyoo. Tesco Effervescent Vitamin C comes in a long red tube and contains 20 tablets. These tablets also now have the option of containing Zinc which has been proven to fight colds along with Vitamin C. The tube is ... Read the complete review
