Tesco also have a long term 3 for 2 offer on their range of supplements, making them even batter value. The tablets come in a medium sized tub which has got a white and blue colour scheme. Although the tub contains a lot of tablets it's not too bulky and doesn't take up much room in my cupboard. All of the information needed is wr...more

Although taking an iron tablet everyday is a necessity for me due to my anemia, I also take several other supplements including the multivitamin tablets from Tesco, mainly because I'm a bit of a health freak! I take one of these a day along with my other supplements and I have mine after my breakfast as it's advised that the tablets should not be taken on an empty stomach. Each tablet contains twelve essential vitamins and minerals which according to Tesco are for 'optimum health.' The ingredients includes vitamins A, C, D, E, B1, B2, B6 and B12. The tablets also contain folic acid, niacin and pantothenic acid. These are only available from Tesco ...  Read the complete review

If you are familiar with my reviews you will be aware that I suffer with an underlying medical condition that weakens my immune system and as a result, I am prone to picking up every cough and cold germ. Whilst I try my very hardest to eat a balanced diet and consume five portions of fruit and vegetables each day (although some experts now believe it should be nine!), I am still susceptible to picking up germs. As with most of us, I have an extremely busy lifestyle, both working and my home life and I frequently find myself feeling run down and out of sorts. Over the years I have gone through phases where I would buy certain pills, which I would swallow on ...  Read the complete review

To keep myself in tip top shape I have to supplement my diet with multi vitamins, as hard as I try, sometimes I am too buys to eat a proper balanced diet and get all my goodness. I have quite a weak immune system so to avoid getting run down I buy multi vitamins. Currently I buy the ones from Tesco. These vitamins cost 87 pence for sixty tablets and are often on special offer in a three for two. As these have quite a long sell by date on them I often stock up while they are on offer. You can also buy bigger pack sizes, and packs with additional extras, like cod liver oil, or iron. These are a bit more expensive, but work out worthwhile investing in if you were ...  Read the complete review

After recently having a few dizzy spells at work due to exhaustion, it really made me worry about my health. I am young but still I was overworking myself and not eating as well as I should be. This made me think that a good option to keep my iron and health levels up would be to take multivitamins. I recently found out a lot of people I know actually take these and I wasn't too sure how effective they'd be but just to keep me energetic and healthy I decided they weren't too pricey really. PACKAGING They are easy to spot if you go down the medicine aisle in Tesco, you will see the multivitamins. The ones I opted for are multivitamins and Iron so ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Multivitamins: Health insurance for 87p? (664 words)

The debate rages on about whether we actually need to take vitamin supplements, with convincing arguments from both sides. Some experts say that we get adequate vitamins from our diet, and that too many vitamin supplements can be dangerous, as certain vitamins are toxic in great quantity. The vitamin companies argue back, that many people benefit from taking extra vitamins, and that modern diets are lacking in certain nutrients. I am used to taking vitamin supplements, and have been taking them since I was a child.Personally, I haven't got a clue whether they work or not, or whether taking them has decreased my chances of getting ill, but to me, taking ...  Read the complete review
