Advantages: everything you need in a phone
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
A great phone for businesses!!
I use this telephone at this work and i think its great. Its quite bulky but its great for an office or somewhere where you need to hold, transfer calls or three way calling.
The phone itseld allows you to mute youself so the other end cannot hear what you are saying. You can turn the volume up and down on the phone stand. There are many features with this phone, the main one for me was that you can attach a headset to the phone as well as having the phone plugged in, great for if someone has a quiet line as you can pick up the phone aswell as a headset.
The phone stores the numbers which have called you and the time they have called, also it stores outbound calls.
There is a caller display function which is great, especially for a business again, where you need to take the customers phone number. The phone itself flashes when you have a phone call.
If you have a headset attached then there will be a beep in your ear before the call comes through so you know when someone is calling.
I cannot think of any faults with this phone, as it has always been excellent when i have used it in the past. It is really simple to use and you will not want an ordinary telephone after having this one.
Some features of the phone:
> The phone has a large, high-resolution, graphical 4-bit grayscale display (320 x 222).
>The phone offers high-quality speakerphone technology, including easy-to-use speaker On/Off, Microphone Mute, and Headset buttons. These buttons are lit when active. For added security, the audible dual tone multifrequency (DTMF) tones are masked when the speakerphone mode is used.
> More than 24 user-adjustable built in ring tones are available.
> The size of the phone is 82 x 10.5 x 6 in. (20.32 x 26.67 x 15.24 cm)
> It weighs 3.5 lb (1.6 kg)
This phone costs around £100 to buy from amazon.
Summary: A great phone, especially for businesses.
