Polycom Soundpoint IP 400 ... enables companies to standardize on the SoundPoint IP 400 across multiple locations and platforms and among protocols from different vendors. The phone's large 160x80 display delivers messaging, call progress, directory access and other content from applications. IETF MGCP v1 and H.323 with H.450 supplementary services are standard protocols supported in the first release. As standards evolve, SoundPoint IP 400 can be field-upgraded, enabling the phone system's capabilities to grow and evolve with the network, maximizing the life of the phone and the return on investment. The SoundPoint IP 400 has 13 feature keys to simplify operation, four content-sensitive soft keys to extend functionality and a message indicator.
